Taiwanese POS Giant Pannacle Forays into Indian Market in Collaboration with Printing Ink Leader ESY INDIA

LUCKNOW: Pinnacle Technology Corporation, world's leading POS printers and solution devices manufacturer with headquarters in Taipei (Taiwan) announced its foray into the Indian market in collaboration with printing ink leader ESY India for marketing their products. This joint venture would be launching 2 models of POS printers with 150 mm and 250 mm speed.


The 2 models of printers come with auto paper cutters and built in serial and USB port and option for customer display unit and cash drawers. Both the models have Ethernet, Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity options. "The auto paper cutter is a unique feature since it is placed on the upper cover. This minimises the paper jams and paper loading or clearing paper jams if any, convenient", said the company.


It added that the patented Oblique Paper Sensor senses the paper quickly so that the printer can be fixed as desktop, below the table or hung on the wall. ESYAclas will be launching ARM and Android based fiscal printers and cloud services soon.

The Indian POS market size is estimated to be around USD 500 million and is growing fast at a CAGR of 22%. Thermal printers are in high demand with current volumes of approximately 130K units. Presently the market is dominated by few big brands. "However with the superior quality and features of ESYAclas products, a robust nationwide sales and service network of 300 centres and a customer base of 5 lakh, we are confident of garnering 15 % market share or USD 75 million ( approximately Rs 500 crore) before second half of 2016", said VP.
